Acupuncture Treatments

Each acupuncture treatment is $115 and lasts approximately one hour. Your first visit will include extra time for a thorough assessment and interview before beginning treatment. Every session is tailored to your unique needs and may also include cupping, gua sha, tuina, trigger point therapy, and manual cranial techniques, as needed. A thoughtful, in-depth interview helps determine which tools and approaches will best support your body and current condition.

Cupping Sessions

Cupping sessions are $60 for 30 minutes. We’ll start with a brief discussion of your health history and current concerns to ensure your session is focused and effective. Depending on your needs, treatment may include cupping, gua sha, or specific tuina (medical massage) techniques to address tension, stagnation, or pain.

Insurance & Superbills

At this time, I do not bill insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.

How to Prepare for Your Treatment

To get the most out of your session, here are a few simple guidelines to help you prepare:

• Wear loose-fitting clothing that can be comfortably rolled above your elbows and knees. You may also need to expose your abdomen—from just below the rib cage to the top of your hips—so please avoid one-piece outfits or dresses.

• Eat a light meal or snack before your appointment. Arriving on an empty stomach can sometimes cause lightheadedness.

• Stay hydrated throughout the day, and avoid alcohol on the day of your treatment.

• After your session, give your body time to rest and absorb the work. Avoid strenuous activity immediately afterward to allow for deeper integration and healing.

Taking a few simple steps before and after treatment can help maximize the benefits of your session and support your body’s natural healing process.

The clinic is located at:
5410 California Ave SW, Suite 202 (green door), Seattle, WA 98136

Hulihan's clinic is located just South of West Seattle's Alaska Junction, kitty corner to the West Seattle Nursery.

If you park on the street in the front there are stairs up to our suite 202. However, if you park on the North (SW Brandon St.) or East side of the building on the street, you can walk through the alley to the back of the building and avoid any stairs. Street parking is available for this location and I recommend pulling onto SW Brandon st. off of California and readily looking for parking there, or near the first round about.
